What’s up Being Eve squad!
In this episode, I got a chance to interview my long-time friend Shakeema and as always, it went great!
Before we get into it, Shakeema is a child of God and a person of Purpose helping women walk in their purpose!
At just 5 years old, Shakeema fell and hurt her skull and this brain injury affected her social life and interactions, as she still tried to figure out who she was.
Now let’s get into it…
At age 24, she chose to give her heart to Jesus Christ but somehow, she couldn't shift her mindset the way she wanted and needed to.
Shakeema wanted the mind of Christ and the mindset of a mature woman of her age. Her mindset unfortunately made her feel like a five-year-old stuck in a 24-year-old body.
Wanting to put herself in a mental institution and on medication, a miracle happened and at the age of 31 years, the Lord delivered her mind!
Y’all get this… From the time she gave her heart to the Lord from her deliverance, she was tormented by the enemy.
WHY? Because she didn't have a thought process of a Christian, so the enemy used that against her.
Listening to a prayer sermon by Dr. Medina Polings and seeing the type of love she had for God, Shakeema felt so intrigued.
What is the Will of God? It is what he expects from us.
Shakeema chose to focus on God’s will and seeked His word and Faith.
This is how she began feeling God’s presence in her life and she fell in love with Him!
