Listen "Episode 83: A conversation with Justin Cochrane, CEO of Carbon Streaming Corp"
Episode Synopsis
Justin is the founder of Carbon Streaming ($NETZ), which provides investors a way to invest in a low carbon future and fight climate change. They offer exposure to carbon credits, a key instrument used by governments and corporations to achieve their climate goals.
Many of us who want to grow their money responsibly stick their money to no-load mutual funds and leave it there for a long period of time. Even though it’s almost impossible to beat the market, Justin points out that a lot of the bad things that are happening on the planet right now – habitat destruction, pollution, climate instability, oceanic dead zones, massive poverty and income inequality – all funded in part or wholly by those very mutual funds.
Also, Justin has twenty years of royalty and stream financing. He was formerly President of Cobalt 27 Capital Corp, which raised over $1 billion in equity and debt prior to its sale to Pala Investments Limited in 2019.
