Episode Synopsis

EP 10 - In this episode, I’m sharing a personal experience that made me reflect on the power of language in building relationships. During a visit to Cuba, I attended a church service without an interpreter, and let me tell you, it was eye-opening. It made me realize how vital communication is for true connection, especially in the Kingdom of God.Together, we’ll dive into God’s original design for language, starting in Genesis. We’ll see how language was meant to foster unity and purpose, but how sin—and ultimately the Tower of Babel—turned it into a source of confusion and division.I’ll also explore what this means for us today, especially in multi-ethnic church settings. How can we overcome language barriers in worship, fellowship, and ministry? I’ll share practical strategies, from bilingual services to intentional community-building, so we can reflect the beauty of God’s diverse family while pursuing unity in Christ. What is Biblical Unity? Spring Bible StudyI’ve created a four-week beginner-level inductive Bible study called What is Biblical Unity? This spring, I’ll be leading an online small group through this study, and my hope is that God will use this time to transform our hearts and inspire us to lead others in studying and living out Biblical Unity.
