Last week we talked with Dwain Berry about substance abuse and addiction and our focus was on how the addiction starts. This week, in the second half of our interview with Dwain, we shift our attention to the solutions available.
We talk about how drugs inhibit the body's natural ability to relieve pain and some pain relieving alternatives to drugs. We discuss some possible long term solutions to the nation's drug problem. We talk about what role the government should play in the solution. Dwain talks to us about ways to help a loved one turn their lives around and how you can help someone even when they don't want your help or don't realize they NEED your help.
