When you study Scripture you discover marvelous treasures that enrich your life and inspire you to act as Jesus commanded us to live. For example, what motivated the earliest believers to take the salvation message of Jesus to the nations of the known world? Their love for Jesus inspired them.  The knowledge that He was God's anointed Savior to save us from our sins and God's wrath in order to reconcile us to God and that Jesus commanded them to make disciples in every nation moved them to sacrifice all.  They were to share His truth in all the world, then He would return to establish God's kingdom on earth forever. We need to understand and know how we fit into this global plan of God's redemption, then give all we can to see this happen as we partner with God.
