Safe2Save, in partnership with the city of Austin, is hosting a competition where area residents can win up to $10,000 in cash prizes just by staying off their phones while driving. Austin-area residents can participate in a month-long competition to see who can reach the highest driving score. At the end of the competition, all drivers who have a score of 98 or above will be entered into a drawing to win $3,000 for first place, $2,000 for second and $1,000 for third. In addition, one user will win $500 each week of the competition. Prizes will be awarded through a grant from State Farm Insurance.
