Listen "Seven"
Episode Synopsis
This week we review the 1995 American crime thriller film Seven.
It stars Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman, with Gwyneth Paltrow, and John C. McGinley in supporting roles.
Set in an unnamed, crime-ridden city, Seven's narrative follows disenchanted, nearly retired detective William Somerset (Freeman) and his newly transferred partner David Mills (Pitt) as they try to stop a serial killer from committing a series of murders based on the seven deadly sins.
Spoiler alerts galore here as we dissect - no pun intended - this movie. Despite being 30 years old it has not dated. We thoroughly recommend watching or re-watching before you listed.
It's a dark and bleak film but incredibly well acted with a great twist. If you have seen it you know what we mean.
If you had to chop off half a kilo from your body which part would you choose..... the Scotsman knows exactly which part he would take and it doesn't take much imagination the cheeky bugger!
The Aussie runs through a lot of the great lines. Both boys loved this movie but talk themselves into a depression revisiting it.
