God tells you to pursue love first, then spiritual gifts. (1 Corinthians 14:1) The reasons: For love is supreme and must flow through each of the Fruits of the Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit. (Colossians 3:14). God first loved you and continues to love through you demonstrating His Endless Love in all its varied expressions produced through the Holy Spirit’s Fruits and Gifts. (Romans 5:5)God wraps your heart together with His in the Comfort of Love’s fabric to demonstrated the Passionate Love the Holy Spirit cascades to you and through you, (Colossians 2:2, Romans 5:8) with is the mark of true maturity. He tells you to pursue love above all things, for all that matters now is living energized and activated by faith - the Holy Spirit Divinely Persuading you -and effectual at work in you releasing His Fruits and Gifts in you and through you by love. (Galatians 5:6, Ephesians 3:20)
