We discuss the challenges of determining optimal treatments, how the practice committee decides on treatments and studies to include in a guideline, and the effectiveness of natural cycle IUI and oral medications such as clomid or letrozole. Dr. Hansen also shares the first-line treatment recommended for unexplained infertility and discusses the use of gonadotropins for ovarian stimulation, either with or without IUI.
