I recently had an opportunity to share the gospel with a man and woman in my hometown. They did not know where the biblical definition of the gospel could be found. Likewise, they did not know about the official Mormon definition. Sadly, they were unable to tell me how they could be saved under the traditional Mormon gospel.These two young people were later identified as the children and grandchildren of high-level Mormon leaders. How is the biblical and Mormon gospel unknown to such well-placed Mormon people? That, I suppose, is the question.Ask Your Bishop is a service for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormons). We compare biblical versus Mormon doctrines, theologies, and practices. Then, we ask questions which request you bring to your Mormon Bishop.
