Episode Synopsis
Born and raised in Dallas,Texas, James Douglas Moore III, commonly known as "J.D.", has been working as a full time artist in the Dallas/Fort Worth area since he completed a tattoo apprenticeship at Last Angels Tattoo in Dallas, Tx under Gerald Garcia in 2013.
He began showing paintings in 2014 and has exhibited his artwork every year since in multiple galleries and other public venues. In August of 2018 JD completed a month long residency at La Macina di San Cresci in Tuscany, Italy to study fresco painting under Emanuele Capozza.
He is currently developing new paintings for an upcoming solo show (TBA), tattooing, and pursuing more mural opportunities.
