Cameron comes in the studio performs some Doc Boggs, Frank Stokes (Piedmont Blues), Hank Williams Sr. and also performs his original tunes. Cam is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist raised in the mountains of East Tennessee. There he studied Appalachian Folk music and country blues, which he melds into his own unique writing style. He's spent years living and learning regional styles in Arkansas, Washington State, the United Kingdom, Georgia, and studied Music Theory and Composition at New York University.His songwriting pays homage to many different genres and combines them into new styles. Reggae, Funk, Folk, Punk, Psychedelic Rock, Blues, Soul, Ragtime, Jazz, and even Country yodeling are just a few of the sounds you may hear at one of his performances. Piano, guitar, and vocals are commonplace at his shows, but often accented with5-string banjo, tenor banjo, ukulele, mandolin, pedal organ, harmonica, and fiddle.Cam has performed up and down the East coast for years but travels extensively and has played in Europe and on the West coast.
