Free catches our mind.
Predictably Irrational
Buying something free than sometime of more value at a discount
Opportunity Cost
Sale of something discounted that will be discontinued.
The psychology of free.
The free sample that will guilt a person to buy a product.
Our gifts were paid for
Romans 6:8, 5:8, 3:23, Rom 6:23, Acts 2:38
A gift refused is the refuser’s lost because it cost the person nothing.
Satan tempted Jesus.
Matt 4:8-9  Tempted Jesus to take the crown, without paying the price.
We have a higher threshold of pain for self than for our children.
Our suffering will perfect us
Prov 27:6 suffering can be fruitful. Our friends that help through the suffering is better than removing the suffering.
Heb 2:10 , Phi 2:5-8, 12-15
The sufferings, the humbling is the workings of God.
Matt 16:24 a disciples have a teachable spirit. To be a disciple, there must be a price.
Being off the alter is free, but there is a price to following Jesus.
The cross was a violent event.
Taking up the cross will violate yourself.
Love not the world....
