This is my first ever podcast (so be patient!). I am Anthony White, spoken word poet in Folkestone, UK. Since the COVID emergency hit, there has been little opportunity to perform, so I thought it time to look at other platforms. This is a poem called I Am. I had read the poem of the same title by John Clare, the great 'peasant poet' and wondered what would happen if I started a piece with the words I Am. This is the result.
