I am Anniebest, and this is the Vibes Web 3 Music Competition Week 38. I’m grateful to God for the privilege to be part of this week’s rendition. Every new week feels like a fresh tour because I know the experience is never the same.
For this week, I’ve prepared a beautiful cover of the song “Jesus Take The Wheel” by Carrie Underwood. It’s actually funny how I had struggled for a while to learn the lyrics of this song, not because it was too difficult, but I think my mind just wasn’t fully set on it.
When this week’s competition began, several songs ran through my mind, but Jesus take the Wheel stood out and got the highest vote from my heart 😊 (yes, it really did 😄). Deep within, I knew I had to sing it. And guess what? In the blink of an eye, I had perfectly learned the lyrics! 🤩
That moment reminded me that in life, whatever we truly set our hearts and minds on, we can achieve, if we remain focused and determined.
The message in Jesus Take the Wheel made me pause and reflect. Truly, there are moments in life when all we can say is, “Jesus, take the wheel.” I’ve personally seen God step in, not once, not twice, but countless times. You know those situations where you've tried everything, and nothing seems to work? When you're at the brink of giving up, and then you remember there’s someone who never gives up on you, no matter how many times you’ve messed up. He’s always ready to clean you up and make you whole again.
In those moments, you fall to your knees and say, “Lord, I’m sorry for the way I’ve been living. I know it’s time to change. From tonight, Jesus take the wheel.” And he shows up faithfully.
I am truly a product of his mercy and grace. 🙏
I pray that as you listen, you’ll be greatly blessed and that Jesus takes over every situation around you today.
