For this week, I’ll be doing a cover of the song “Two Voices, One Song”, one of the soundtracks from the movie Barbie and the Diamond Castle.
I’ve watched this movie countless times and never get tired of it. Barbie and the Diamond Castle is an enchanting fairy-tale adventure that leaves young viewers with valuable lessons about friendship, music, and courage.
For me, friendship has always been something I treasure deeply, built on trust and loyalty. At times, I’ve struggled with making friends because I hold these values so dearly. However, after watching Barbie and the Diamond Castle, I clearly saw that true friendships that last will inevitably face challenges, just as Liana and Alexa (the main characters) did.
In the movie, they were tested with luxury, challenged by Lydia’s dragon “Slyder,” and even had to make the difficult choice to save a stranger, Melody, and her fellow muses, who had been turned into stone.
I highly recommend this magical musical tale to young audiences. It will inspire you to become a better version of yourself, reveal the incredible power of music, and remind you of the beauty of true friendship.
