Armando Castro is no stranger to the Monster Jam trucker driver experience. Hailing from Whittier, Calif., Armando is very familiar with Anaheim Angels Stadium which is down the freeway from his hometown. But it will be the first time the Monster Jam Triple Threat Series will rev its way into the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, just a stone's throw away, practically in Armando's backyard. 

Monster Jam fans all over SoCal will experience high-octane, action-packed weekend as the Triple Threat Series powers into its first appearance ever at the Staples Center. Watch Armando Castro as one of eight Monster Jam athletes battle for the championship as they go head-to-head in a points-based format with seven different competitions driving three customized high-powered vehicles:  the larger-than-life 12,000 lb. Monster Jam trucks, Monster Jam Speedsters and Monster Jam ATVs.  These extreme athletes battle for points in challenging Racing and Freestyle events that push themselves and their machines to the limit – delivering what fans want to see the most… more trucks, more racing, more freestyle, more donuts, more wheelies, more action!
