Since I invented the 6:00 p.m. show at the Comedy Cellar, it was only natural to tell Sarah Silverman she should practice her Netflix special there in front of a live audience. So, the Super Secret Pop Up Show was on the board but none of the audience knew who it was and since I was opening for her, they may as well have said, "before we bring up Bruce Springsteen, the comedy stylings of. . ." oy. But, classic and you can hear all about that and my nutty friend who wanted to cruise around Newark, NJ in the middle of the night and a night performing at the classic NYC Cabaret Club, Don't Tell Mama's in Times Square.
