In our December Whole Church Teaching Tim Barton leads us through a reflection on the birth of Christ that will fill us with hope. The birth of Christ reminds us that God always fulfils His promises, that all things are possible and that God has not given up on humanity. As we reflect once again on what has become known as ‘the Christmas story’ we remind ourselves of the truth of a God who loved the world even to the point of becoming flesh. As we come to God in this festive season we pray, along with Paul the Apostle, that the God of hope would fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may overflow with hope.
