In this Episode, I feature special guest and ministry friend, Melissa Holstrom with Freedom to Flourish KC, who also sings a beautiful worship song.  Melissa is a wife to her best friend, momma to three incredible teenagers, and a lover and follower of Jesus. Some of her greatest loves are serving Jesus, leading worship, loving and being with her family and loving people. In our authentic conversation, Melissa shares her “This is My Story, This is My Song” God Story about her journey of salvation and upbringing and how God helped her heal and overcome the trauma of being date raped in her younger years, which left her with much shame and guilt.  She also shares how God used her pain from her trauma and a ministry setback to fulfill her calling as the Founder of Freedom to Flourish KC, a ministry that aligns healing worship music to testimonies to set individuals free to move forward into their Godly purpose, so they can Flourish.
