This special one-hour adaptation brought the political intrigue, betrayal, and aftermath of Caesar’s assassination to life on Sauk Valley Community College’s outdoor stage. Ben shared what made this version unique, the real-world relevance of the story, and the inspiration he took from a Dallas production. Audiences also enjoyed a lively pre-show featuring fire juggling, madrigal singers from Chicago, and a live sword-fighting demonstration.Performances take place August 16–17, 2025, with the goal of making Shakespeare accessible for newcomers and engaging for seasoned theater fans.
