This week on All The Hype, I'm joined by Dr. Nirav Pandya. He is the Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at UCSF & the Director of Sports Medicine at Benioff Children's Hospital. Dr. Pandya is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine for young athletes. We discuss injuries in the NBA from a medical perspective, COVID effects, & the importance of youth sports.
Dr. Pandya's area of expertise include sports medicine, arthroscopy, pediatric trauma as well as general pediatric orthopedics. Dr. Pandya attended University of Chicago, completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed his fellowship at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego & now has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications, multiple book chapters & speaks regularly at national conferences.
