Listen "Protest Voices"
Episode Synopsis
Widespread protests erupted more than a week ago, part of a national response to the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, and they’ve continued in cities across Indiana and the country ever since. Today we talk to protestors and organizers about the ideas and demands behind these protests, and a social policy researcher helps explain how these ideas could take shape.
We also talk to the Deputy Mayor of Neighborhood Engagement for Indianapolis about the relationship between police and the communities they’re hired to serve.
Produced by Drew Daudelin.
