Today we will be talking about something that’s very personal to me. A bunch of years ago I wrote quite a bit of poetry. Over the years, I’ve let a few people see some of it. I don’t think I’ve shared all of it with but a few folks. Today, and from time to time on this podcast I’d like to share a poem or two with you. Today’s poem is entitled Denial and Acceptance.Sometimes we drift. We ignore God’s path, we stop praying, and we close ourselves off from His presence. Maybe we get angry, distracted, or lost in the struggles of life. Like the words shared today, we may deny Him—not just once, but over and over. We know He’s there, but we walk away anyway. Yet even in our rebellion, God remains faithful. This is a reminder that no matter how far we run, God’s grace is still within reach.
