Join us this week where Dr. Roman Gusztak, a pediatric anesthesiologist at the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and Dr. Sebastien Turcotte, a PGY-2 anesthesia resident at the University of Saskatchewan, discuss the anesthetic care of patients with neurodivergent conditions in the perioperative setting from a physician's point of view.
Roman Gusztak completed his BSc and MSc in Zoology and MD at the University of Manitoba followed by his anesthesia residency training at the University of Saskatchewan. He then completed a dual fellowship in pediatric anesthesia and pediatric intensive care at Boston Children’s Hospital. He is currently working as a pediatric anesthesiologist in Saskatoon. He is happily married and enjoys spending time with his four young children and gardening in his spare time.
