AHRMM is pleased to share that BD has addressed member questions about access to the plastic protectors for BD BACTEC™ media in glass vials. As shared by BD during the AHRMM webinar, BD BACTEC™ Lytic/10 Anaerobic/F media in glass vials is being reintroduced to complement plastic vial production which is experiencing a supply shortage. BD requests you contact your BD representative or visit the BD BACTEC™ update website to “opt in” for both glass vials for verification support and no cost protector sleeves.
