Carolyn Cook is the founder and Producing Artistic Director of Théâtre du Rêve (Theatre of the Dream). She has more than thirty years of experience as a professional actor, director, producer, teacher, and coach with many Atlanta theaters including Georgia Shakespeare, Horizon Theatre, The Alliance Theatre, Actor’s Express, Theatre in the Square, Seven Stages, Theater Emory, Theatrical Outfit and Théâtre du Rêve. She has written three plays for Théâtre du Rêve, including Code Noir: Les aventures du premier Comte de Monte Cristo ; Il Etait Une Fois (Once Upon a Time) ; and Je ne suis pas Evangeline (I am not Evangeline). Carolyn studied French and theatre in Paris, and completed courses in literature and linguistics at the Sorbonne.
