Listen "20201207 - Regency Winter."
Episode Synopsis
A Regency Winter:
Our eighteenth-century book club continues, with a twist. Throughout December we’re reading a book set in 1818, but written in 1965: Frederica, by Georgette Heyer. This story of love and social ambition combines humor, romance, and meticulous historical detail. In our first meeting, we’ll be discussing chapters 1-7. Dr. Tabitha Kenlon, a former professor of English, will moderate the conversation. The book is available for free on NLS and Bookshare.
