Good Morning.Forgiveness is an exercise in compassion, for yourself. It's a conscious and deliberate letting go of resentment that may be harming you emotionally, psychologically and even physiologically. It's not admitting defeat or surrender, nor does it condone what happened. Instead, it can be a liberating experience where you get to choose what to let go and leave behind. It may be someone else you need to forgive, it may be yourself. This question may trigger some trauma, please listen with caution.
