Listen "NGO Leadership Podcast Summit - Robin Aleksevitch"
Episode Synopsis
The NGO Leadership Podcast Summit is a powerful series of podcast interviews with international leaders and nonprofit executives who tell their stories of how true transformation is impacting change in the US and around the globe.
In this episode Robin Aleksevitch and podcast host Annie Vander Werff discuss the fascinating concept of how self care supports a healthier leader to live out their highest potential. Using modalities like Biofeedback are so powerful on our path to discovering our purpose!
Robin has been Registered Nurse for over 33 years, receiving her Bachelors Degrees in Nursing, Psychology and English from the University of South Dakota. Working as a nurse in cardiac, behavioral and school nursing, she has seen the impact stress plays on our body, mind and health. Nearly 10 years ago she began a journey of Holistic Wellness and has added DoTERRA Essential Oils, Reiki and Biofeedback to help her clients reach their optimum health goals and lead healthier, happier and more balanced lives. Robin also has a passion for empowering women locally and globally. Her work with Hearts for Kenya led her to visit the schools in Oyugis Kenya. It was here that they asked for feminine Hygiene Pads, and Robin started a Days for Girls Enterprise that still employees 5 local women, one male nurse. The team has educated and made over 1,500 reusable feminine hygiene kits and are currently sewing daily.
