Desires are wants and passions that we have and its so important to have desires. In the scriptures Eve desired to be wise, and the only way she would become wise was partaking of the fruit. Why she asked if there was any other way was because she knew that partking of the fruit would now allow pain to come upon her children. Often times we have desires and they aren't given to us in the way we expect and that can be very frustrating and hard. The one thing that I have to remember is that God is on my team and he wants to bless me, he is not sitting in the corner saying I am ready to dissapoint my son by not giving him what he desires. God truly just sees with a bigger lens, that is why we have to trust that he won't lead us astray as long as we have good righteous desires. A Higher Joy
