One of the best rivalries in all of small school football in southern California returns the Kare Park this Saturday night as Pasadena Poly takes on Rio Hondo Prep. It is the home opener for the Kares as well as Champions Night which will honor all previous CIF Champions from the past. Our guest is former Poly Head Coach Chris Schmoke who battled Rio for many years and now coaches in Tennessee. He shares how the mutual respect of both programs is what makes this rivalry truly special. Coach Schmoke also has some kind words for his friend Coach Carson and the uniqueness of Rio Hondo.
