Summer is over and the 2022 Rio Hondo Prep football season is finally here! The Kares kick things off this Friday against the El Monte Lions at Kare Park in Irwindale. Our first guest is Dylan Davis, the Public Address announcer for RHP. He is following in the footsteps of his father Dan who was the PA voice of Rio Hondo for many decades. Dylan talks about the football program and being on the first baseball championship in school history back in 2019. We are later joined by Head Coach Mark Carson to discuss being on the doorstep of his team's first game. He takes us behind the scenes of game week and his thoughts on El Monte's loss to Pomona last Friday. Coach also informs fans of the new phone app required for purchasing tickets to games this season. The long wait is over. It's time for Rio Hondo Prep Football!!!!
