The WIP Morning Team discusses the risk of giving up a third round pick for Jaelan Phillips. They listen to audio of Jason Kelce talking about Phillips trash talking him during a joint practice. They talk about what spot they would like Howie to fill. Joe DeCamara said he wants to see them trade for a offensive lineman, however he doesn’t think Howie will make that move. They talk about Nakobe Dean returning and what they will do with him next season. Jihaad Campbell has been playing well while Dean was out with an injury. ‘He’s not going anywhere, he’s the core of the defense’ said Jon Ritchie in regards to Dean. The team also gives credit to Schwarber, Sanchez and Thomson for their post season nominations. Rhea mentions the Flyers and what the team needs to do to turn around their season.
