For our final episode of season 3, we are bringing you an interview with Dr. Martin McCain, Artist/Teacher of Trombone at Texas State University. Dr. McCain is an incredibly accomplished soloist performing recitals frequently with his wife as the McCain Duo. He lives as a versatile performer being a recording artist, chamber, orchestral, jazz/commercial musician and educator. He is a four-time winner of the Global Music Awards and is the master of all grills/smokers when it comes to barbecue, especially in the trombone world! We discuss his early life and collegiate life heavily to find out what inspired and educated Dr. McCain to get him to where he is today.
