In the Studio: Meet Our Guests
Gloria Jones — Legend, Icon, Inspiration
When we say “music royalty,” we mean it. Gloria Jones has shaped stages and inspired generations. Today, she brings heart, history, and hard-won wisdom—reminding us how music can move culture, build bridges, and transform lives.
Philip Tindley — Director, Twang Guitars & Twang Music Academy
Philip Tindley has been trading in musical instruments for 21 years and launched the Twang Music Academy 15 years ago. He also serves as a Director on the Penge Business Improvement District team. Two years ago, Philip founded a charitable foundation providing free music lessons and instruments to children in several local schools and at The Queen Adelaide Community Hub. With a dedicated team—and a lot of love—they raise funds through musical events and donations of instruments. Community-first, music-always.
Paul Mawdesley — Revolution Records
From crate-digging classics to modern must-haves, Paul Mawdesley champions the joy of discovery at Revolution Records. Expect real-world tips on building a destination record store, cultivating superfans, and keeping physical music not only alive—but thriving.
