Wunmi was born in England and raised in Nigeria, and back to England as a teenager. This interview explains how the clash of her English and Naija backgrounds forced Wunmi with the help of: Soul II Soul, Masters at Work, Osunlade, Roy Ayers, and others to integrate her African roots and build an amazing career outside of the world of commercial music.

The UK release is forth coming on Documented Record Label.
