What do you believe is the source of suffering in your relationship and what role do you play? What role does your ego play in the perception you have of your partner? How have you allowed “shoulds” and unmet expectations to formulate arbitrary relational timelines that cause conflict? (Ex: We “should” be married by now. We “should” be able to purchase a new home. Etc.) How would you say your ego has contributed to your personal AND relational stagnancy? Is your relational suffering self imposed? 1. In what ways do you believe your egoic God complex contributes to the stagnancy and suffering in your relationship? 2. How does your egoic God complex affect your ability to empathize with your partner's needs and desires? 3.
