Throughout history, tales have spread of a mysterious black creature that signified death. Odin's Shukir for the vikings, "Wild Hunt" for the Middle Ages, and for some the dearly departed souls in a 1577 church in England, Black Shuck. But this wasn't the last time that the demon dog would make an appearance. In fact, it could happen to you today. If you hear the howl, don't look outside. Don't open the door. Just close your eyes and pray to be spared.
