Join us for another episode of the YourTown - Georgina podcast as we talk about the pride of Georgina: Lake Simcoe. This episode was first recorded in January with additional content added in June. We discuss the importance of the lake to the fabric of our town and to the identity of its residents. We explore the role the lake plays in shaping our community and we share some of our favourite lake memories. We were very excited to be joined by Town of Georgina, Municipal Councillor, Dave Neeson (Ward 3) who shared his passion for the lake and educated us on some of the important efforts underway to protect and preserve its health.
