Twilight is a tale as old as time - girl moves to new town, meets boy, they fall in love and he struggles with constantly wanting to kill her. Er, maybe it’s not that common. The books became a cultural phenomenon when the first movie was released in 2008 under director Catherine Hardwicke, and has remained a pop culture icon ever since.
