YOU, BOO. Podcast is BACK with an exciting episode featuring a surprise interview with contemporary Artist, Ellen Picken, and L.A. Gallery owner, Mike Weiss. In this soulful episode, we discuss what it means to follow a dream and be true to yourself, while soaking up the good vibes of our pop-up podcast studio, in the gorgeous backyard garden of Lowell Ryan Projects Art Gallery in Mid City, Los Angeles.

My husband and I had an epic time living in Mid City L.A. with Ellen and Raj for a week, because we decided to join them on the trip to support Ellen in her first big gallery show in L.A. She has been a well known and loved large scale muralist for 10 years and recently made the shift back into studio work.
Hear all about what sets her work and her process apart in this enlightening interview! I just LOVE the wisdom she drops for all of us. She is a great story teller, and I hope you love to take in her creative and curious perspective on life as much as I do.
I also at the last minute, got a wild hair to ask one of the galley owners - Mike, to join me on the show, and I was lucky enough that he was happy to be candid and spontaneous with me. What a fun experience it was to be invited into this space with such warmth and professionalism.
As for me? Well, Boo! I had no plan, but I knew that as I was packing my bag to go to the one of the dreamiest places for creators to create....I just had to throw my podcasting gear into my bag, and figure it out on the fly. And well? It worked out! Following an intuitive nudge, and receiving support from awesome friends, this candid interview came to life. And! It's my first ever interview on this podcast, so let's reference Ep. 3 and embrace imperfection, ya?! Which leads me to our title : Everything is an Experiment, which is an idea that Ellen brings fourth on this episode, that allows her to be free, while creating incredibly high quality and thoughtful work. The work in her show is otherworldly, and this conversation takes us to a space where dreams are made real.
