In this 22nd episode, Pastor Luke continues his discussion of Voddie Baucham’s Four P’s of Family Shepherding. This time, he covers the Provider.

A provider is a man who humbly stands before God and makes sure his people have what they need. He must be a good steward of the gifts God has given him, and those living in a
man’s household certainly fall into this category. Your wife and children are your most richest blessings and absolutely should be thought of in that way.

A provider does not walk in idleness, but toils and labors
both day and night in order to provide for his family. A provider is not a busybody, but is busy at work, doing his work quietly, earning his own living. He has a good biblical work ethic. He is not a mooch. He does not
meddle in quarrels not his own, but minds his own business.

Be a provider. Yesterday was easy!
