My first digital Chibi! You have no idea how excited I am. I have been practicing a lot, thanks to my children's classes, I have worked very hard to make that jump from traditional illustration to digital illustration, and of course it had to be with a Fanart of one of the characters from @holozing that I am very in love with.
To start off I did it with Zappit, in my Female Chibi version, beautiful, I am in love with it, I would like to print it on many things, it is so beautiful, I put too much love into it. I worked on an Ipad and with the Procreate program, these resources are from my daughter who is an illustrator and I have been learning and working with her. I was so excited that I wanted to upload a little video with the process, which I also explain below:
¡Mi primera Chibi en digital! No tienen ni idea de la emoción que siento. He estado practicando mucho, gracias a las clases de mis hijos, he trabajado muchísimo para dar ese salto de la ilustración tradicional a la ilustración digital, y por supuesto que tenía que ser con un Fanart de uno de los personajes de @holozing que me tienen muy enamorada.
Para estrenarme lo hice con Zappit, en mi versión Femenina Chibi, hermosa, estoy enamorada de ella, la quisiera imprimir en muchas cosas, de lo bella que es, le puse demasiado amor. Trabajé en una Ipad y con el programa Procreate, estos recursos son de mi hija que es ilustradora y he estado aprendiendo y trabajando con ella. Me emocioné tanto que quise subirles un pequeño video con el proceso, que también explico a continuación:
Zappit
I like to sketch with two colors. Then, Lineart with a thin pencil-style brush. This is how I work when drawing on paper as well.
I applied the base color of the skin, darkened the area of the legs near the skirt as a shadow, and applied blush on my Chibi's cheeks.
Me gusta realizar el boceto con dos colores. Luego, Lineart con un pincel estilo o efecto lápiz, delgado. Así trabajo también cuando dibujo en papel.
Apliqué el color base de la piel, oscurecí el área de las piernas cerca a la falda como sombra, y apliqué rubor en las mejillas de mi Chibi.
I applied shadows to the skin. The hair was very thick and I applied the base color like the original Zappit. With the airbrush I colored the lower part of the hair a redder color, and with the characteristic shine in front of the bangs that I always like to do with the Chibis.
Apliqué sombras a la piel. El cabello, muy abundante y le apliqué el color base como el del Zappit original. Con el aerógrafo coloreé de un color más rojizo la parte baja del cabello, y con el brillo característico al frente del flequillo que me gusta hacerlo siempre a las Chibis.
I added more details to the hair. The dress was a medium brown, and gloves and shoes with a beautiful design.

Añadí más detalles al cabello. El vestido de un marrón medio, y unos guantes y zapatos con un diseño hermoso.

I colored the eyes with Zappit's signature green, they actually turned out the same as Zappit's but with the eyes I always make in Chibis. I added more details to everything and a background to present.
Coloree los ojos con un verde característico de Zappit, realmente quedaron iguales a Zappit pero con los ojos que siempre hago en las Chibis. Le hice más detalles a todo y un fondo para presentar.
To make the cover, I worked with Canva in its Pro version, I uploaded my drawing and improved the image with the Canva App called Image Upscaler, with which you can increase the quality without actually intervening in the design. I also made an animation of the elements.
Para hacer la portada, trabajé con Canva en su versión Pro, cargué mi dibujo y mejoré la imagen con la App de Canva llamada Image Upscaler, con la cual se logra aumentar la calidad, sin intervenir propiamente el diseño. También realicé una animación de los elementos.
I loved this Chibi Zappit, the process was very exciting, being able to do many things with Digital Illustration is another level, and I'm enjoying it too much.
I wish you would create my version and this publication, since I made it as always with a lot of love and respect for the characters of the HOLOZING universe.
