In 2001 our guest Terry Rich had a great idea.  After working for years in the early days of cable television,  he saw the incredible success of Vince McMahon's WWE as a model for a new type of sports entertainment that capitolized on the exploding popularity of soccer.  Socker Slam only aired four episodes drawing a small audience of 12,000 viewers apiece.  But the hilarious,  over the top characters the show brought to life is being resurrected in Corey Moss's new documentary "Game Gone Wild: The Socker Slam Story".  Terry was not only the commissioner and mastermind behind this amazing chapter in sports history,  he holds the distinction of being our first guest to have graced the couch of the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson! #sockerslam #indoorsoccer #americangreed
