INXS was one of the greatest bands of the 1980's, surviving the malaise of 1980's techno-pop and new wave nonsense on the wings of great rock and roll guitar riffs, exceptional high hat percussions and a rangy lead singer in the mold of Jim Morrison and Robert Plant in Michael Hutchence.
