Episode Synopsis

Welcome back to Yeah I Got an F#%*ing Job with a Liberal Arts Degree. It is our fourth episode and we are excited to keep bringing our listeners interesting content about the role of the liberal arts in our society.
Our guest for episode four is Naysan Mojgani who is a professional dramaturg based in Northern Virginia. He received his undergraduate degree from Carlton College and his PhD in Theatre Studies from the University of Colorado at San Diego, both in theater studies. He now works at the Round House Theatre in Bethesda, MA as an Associate Artist for Literary & New Plays.
He describes himself as a recovering academic but continues to hold his liberal arts education close in his current profession. It was great to have Naysan on the show to discuss his perspective on higher education and how he has continued building on what he started in college.
For today’s episode, Abigail Smithson is co-hosting. She is the producer of the show and a lecturer in the Art+Film department here at Cal Poly Humboldt.
