When I was in primary and intermediate school a common thing people would say about me is that I’m a show off. But I always knew and felt that I had a light to shine but because I didn’t wanna be a show off I thought I had to dim it. So that 10,11,12 year old boy is still inside me scared to show off still and I have to remind him that it’s not showing off like they said it was, it’s shining your unique light. Not everyone will accept your light but the ones that do will appreciate you for who you really are. And being your whole authentic self is the best gift you can give to the world.
