A tangent ratio is a tool used with right triangles that allows one to find the length of the sides of a triangle given the degree of its angles. To find a tangent ratio use the formula, tangent equals opposite divided by adjacent. To find a leg length, use the formula, tangent equals, opposite divided by adjacent. I also learned how to use a tangent ratio formula and how to properly solve with angles.
