Listen "Children among the most impacted by uncertainty in SNAP benefits"
Episode Synopsis
Over one million Michigan residents are impacted by the uncertainty in SNAP benefits. A pair of court rulings yesterday ordered the Trump Administration to continue funding the program during the government shutdown. However, benefits for Michigan's 1.4 million recipients could be delayed in November, because the process of loading bridge cards can take over a week. Luke Shaefer, professor of public policy at the University of Michigan, spoke live with WWJ's Luke Sloan. (Photo Credit: jetcityimage/GettyImages).
